Step 4:
Start Shopping
Home shopping is the fun part, but there is more to it than meets the eye. It is key when shopping to differentiate between what you need and what you want. It is also extremely important to leave expectations at the door and be mindful of your budget and long list of requirements.

Wants and Needs
Knowing what you want vs what you need is key to your home search. Depending on budget, it is very rare to find a home with all of your wants and needs, which is why knowing what you truly need before looking at homes helps you to pick and choose what works best for you!
What You Don't Want
As important as knowing what you want is, it is equally important to know what you don't want. Whether it be a certain style of house, location or even colours, it is important to know. However, similar to your wants and needs, it is important to base decisions on levels of importance, as some things that you don't want may just be a preference that you'll have to look past to get the other item you want.
This is where I come in as a professional. I have worked with many buyers and have experienced the give-and-take circumstances. No buyer is the same, which is why I take the time to understand you and your needs before we start looking at homes. This way, I can provide expert advice throughout the process and find you the homes that fit your criteria!
